Arthur first studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After 2 years traveling the world as a photographer’s assistant, he struck out on his own and worked the commercial market moving between fashion and travel photography. Growing tired of the limits and restrictions, he decided to move to London and pursue his own direction, creating this acutely sensitive series of nudes.
Using no computers or retouching and only natural light, his pictures exude a simple, straightforward purity. They are reveal honoured glimpses into the private, sensuous and intimate – the shapes and shadows of beautiful women at their most natural and romantic. He has just won the "Award of Excellence" from BW fine art photography magazine for his work.
